Join us for this inaugural race which provides a prep race for the Army 10 Miler.
The 149th Movement Enhancement Brigade, in conjunction with MWR BGAD, will host a running event with 3 different distances in order to encourage general fitness, provide a closed-course race to prepare for the Army 10-miler, and connect the Kentucky National Guard with our local community.
Our race will feature a 10 Miler, 10K, and 5K. The 10 Miler is a "Run Only" event. Walkers are welcomed in the 5K and 10K distance. There will also be a Ruck March competition for the 10K (see details below).
All race proceeds and donations from the event will support the Army Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Program, which directly benefits the well-being and quality for the Soldiers and families of the Blue Grass Army Depot.
We will have a military equipment on display, to include a Blackhawk helicopter onsite for kids/families to tour.
